Omega Upright Geometry
Engineered cold-formed upright sections with multiple return bends optimize torsional stiffness and resist longitudinal buckling under multi-tier frame compression.

When global supply chain directors, structural engineers, and facility heads source heavy duty storage racks, structural integrity and cubic efficiency cannot be compromised. Engineered for unit pallet weights from 1,000 kg to over 4,500 kg per level, Signature Racking Systems designs, fabricates, and installs custom industrial storage solutions built to international EN 15512 and FEM 10.2.02 standards directly from our Ajman Free Zone manufacturing plant.
Every industrial storage system engineered at our facility undergoes finite element analysis (FEA) to ensure structural safety under dynamic loading, forklift impacts, and seismic conditions.

Structural Rule of Thumb: Point load concentration beneath an upright baseplate can reach 80 to 140 kN under full static loading. Concrete slab compressive strength (recommended ≥ 30 MPa) and reinforcement mesh placement must be certified prior to final torque anchoring.
How automation, micro-fulfillment, green logistics, and advanced material science are transforming industrial storage rack design globally.
Modern heavy duty racking is no longer static steel. Pallet runners, entry funnels, and beam elevations are engineered with millimeter tolerances to accommodate 2D/4D automated radio shuttles and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) operating 24/7 without human intervention.
By transitioning from conventional mild steel to high-yield micro-alloyed steel grades (yield strength ≥ 355 to 420 MPa), racking manufacturers reduce total structural self-weight by up to 18% while simultaneously increasing upright buckling limits and earthquake resistance.
Global procurement teams now require full structural calculation books verified via non-linear FEA software. Every beam-to-column connector semi-rigidity curve (κ-factor) is digitally modeled before roll forming begins to prevent localized deformation under asymmetric load spikes.
As cold-chain logistics expand in the GCC, Europe, and Asia, anti-corrosion finishes are shifting to zero-VOC, heavy-metal-free epoxy hybrid coatings and continuous hot-dip galvanizing capable of enduring thermal shock from -30°C blast-freezers to +45°C ambient humidity.
By controlling every step from raw hot-rolled and cold-rolled coil slitting to precision roll forming and automatic punching, Signature Racking Systems eliminates middleman markups and guarantees ISO-compliant tolerances.
Headquartered in Ajman Free Zone, United Arab Emirates, Signature Racking Systems F.Z.C has evolved over two decades from a regional pioneer into an internationally trusted manufacturer of heavy duty storage racks, structural mezzanine floors, and material handling systems.
Unlike distributors or trading companies, we operate our own rolling mills, automatic punch lines, and electrostatic coating booths. This single-source model enables us to deliver tailored beam spans, unique bay depths, certified load capacities, and aggressive lead times that third-party vendors simply cannot match.

Safe load capacity is determined based on the Uniformly Distributed Load (UDL) per pair of beam levels and upright frame buckling limits, governed by standards such as EN 15512, FEM 10.2.02, and RMI MH16.1. Beam deflection is strictly capped at L/200 (or L/300 for sensitive automated systems), while upright frame selection factors in the vertical distance between the floor and the first beam level, total frame height, and dynamic seismic or forklift impact loads.
Most heavy duty pallet racking installations require a minimum reinforced concrete floor slab thickness of 150 mm to 200 mm with a compressive strength of at least 25 to 30 MPa (C25/30 rating). The floor must be crack-free, level according to DIN 18202 Class 3 or TR34 standards, and able to withstand point loads exerted by baseplates via M12 to M16 mechanical anchor bolts.
Roll-formed racking uses cold-rolled high-tensile coil steel with punched teardrop or slotted holes, offering high modularity, rapid adjustability, and cost-effectiveness. Structural steel racking uses hot-rolled structural C-channels or I-beams bolted together, offering extreme resistance to forklift impact, higher point load capacities, and ideal performance in abusive or harsh outdoor environments.
We apply an automated multi-stage pre-treatment (degreasing and phosphating) followed by an electrostatic thermosetting polyester powder coating (60–80 microns), cured at 200°C for indoor storage. For outdoor or sub-zero blast-freezer operations (-30°C), we supply hot-dip galvanized components complying with ISO 1461, preventing rust, flaking, and structural fatigue.
